FANSQ (Frequently Asked No Stupid Questions)
1. When will my order arrive?
I typically ship within 1-3 business days, sometimes day of! I'm currently in Kyoto. This will result in order arrival by Japan Yu-pack or Letter mail in 5-7 business days.
2. When will my order arrive if I'm not located in the Japan?
International shipping by JP Post Air Mail will take approximately 6-13 business days. I am sorry for the long travel! However some locations due to customs take longer... If you order larger pieces it typically takes longer to pass through customs, envelopes or prints are quicker. Thankyou for your patience.
3. Do you sign your prints?
No my name is sacred.
Just kidding yes I do! Sometimes twice, sometimes thrice, sometimes I stamp them with one or many of my stamps. If it's raining there may be extra stamping.
4. What does your name mean?
イト is a pseudonym I was given by the great sleeping god Izanamineru, the lesser of the two Japanese creationist deities, Izanami and Izanagi. He is slower than his sibling, but important in maintaining balance. He is known for bestowing unwanted titles and gifts. Ito also means "thread".
The katakana (Japanese Romaji Alphabet) making up イト are the two laziest. Only four strokes, they are barely distinct from one another. In fact when inebriated they are often confused. Izanamineru told me himself it was perfect for a lazy artist. I suppose I was grateful for this name of laziness, though left with more questions than answers.
He grunted "it is about the way not the name," and returned to his slumber.
*Disclaimer Izanamineru is not on the world wide web, and risky to speak ill of him when he is awake. However until he discovers html, mild criticism of the deity is safe.
5. What does your name mean TLDR?
Nothing in particular. It's pronunciation also means "thread" in Japanese.
6. Where are you from?
I am mixed from European and Korean/Japanese descent, but born and bred in the United States! #freedomintensifies
